Possibly Kitsunes as a new dlc race?

hi guys, I was wondering if age of wonders 3 will possibly put kitsune´s as a future dlc race or at least as a minor race for the game, cause the kitsune´s are my favorite race of fantasy world and there´s are not so much fantasy video games that features them, to bee honest there´s a chance that they don´t even exist for the developers of the game but you´ll never know, or at least naga race, but I also doubt it, but as I said before.. you´ll never know..

also what makes kitsune special is that they can have 9 tails and are excellent yokais that fool people they find in the forest, i think they are more powerful depending on how many tails they have

Kitsune is japanese for fox. It doesn't mean magic fox, or fox-tailed human, it means fox. There are Japanese myths and about a lot of furry animals being magical, and a lot of furry animal monsters, but asking for a Kitsune as a race is like asking for Grävling as a race (grävling is swedish for badger).

Kitsune in a fantasy game is a sign of a bad localisation team, or lazy fantasy race naming conventions. There are normal foxes in fantasy games so no, foxes are not automatically magic fox people in fantasy games.

Have to agree with some of the posters, no way they'd make up a new race when they have so many not being used in this new game from the older games. That aside a fox race would be rather odd in a traditional fantasy game setting, personal thoughts.

Taking a look at the race choices so far (Humans, High Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins and Draconians), the High Men/Archons, Undead, Frostlings, Tigrans, Halflings are the main choices for add on races. As the story goes Lizardmen were killed off, they've basicly been replaced by Draconians anyways, but a race of Merfolk would be a interesting new addition. That and maybe the return of the Dark Elves if the elves end up splitting again in the story (or maybe remnants left alive). I never did finish shadow magic to know what became of the Syrons, Nomads, Shadow Demons, but I thought the Nomads had a tie to the Azracs so at least they should make a return to the game.

If a new race does get invented for this game it should definitely be a water dwelling race, the lizardmen's departure from the first game has left that void unfilled for a while now (Merfolk!). For now I think they did a decent job of picking a core group of races to start the game out with.

There's the traditional Japanese sort and the ones often shown in animated Japanese cartoons.
The Legends of the Five Rings had very nice Kitsune Spirits theme going on.
Wizard's of the Coast's Magic: The Gathering had a humanoid Kitsune race for white mana that looked really good.
The Jade Empire had a really weird take on the Kitsune, where they were not only magical and spiritual, but also humanoid.

oh okay my friend, i just wish kitsunes thats all what i want, and of course if theyre gonna add the old races then i wish they come first before my wish dont want to dissapoint the fans!! :)
