As for building the succubus and stalker, have you researched them? Class unit unlocks are linear researches; for rogue, it's Grimbeak Crows -> Scoundrel -> Bard -> Assassin -> Succubus -> Shadow Stalker. Should be on the left middle of the research window.
Uh huh! Yes, i've got the "Produce Scoundrel" research item in the research book, which says leads to Produce Bard. Didn't realise you had to research them afterwards.
Thank you, good sir.
And yeah, i've got one hero that showed up, was hoping it would be like other games where you might build a tavern or come accross a tavern that has a rotating roster of heros you can purchase, but regardless, thats fine.
Thanks again. and for the quick reply. Game is awesome, like Civ crossed with HoMM. Only only on the tutorial campaign, but whatever.
In the campaign, there are specific heroes that show up for each campaign level. There are some interesting story dynamics with several of them.
You can buy troops at inns, and the inns will sometimes randomly have different units show up, but none of them will be heroes.
Personally, I like the campaigns. If nothing else, they'll give you a good feel for various units, and leader types available. But custom maps are fun, too.
