Seeing that I am one of the minority out there who like games that have rules and instructions on how to play included. Alas, the designers of this game have opted for the less is more approach. That's Ok. Their choice.
What stats do ?
Is a dragon as good as 6 crossbowmen. ?
and more and more beyond that and sooooooooooooooooooooooo many more that it would take too long to write them.
HoMM this games main competitor as a counter has a 330 page PDF that's downloadable for free that does it for that game
The Wiki has been THE ESSENTIAL source of information on actual game play, and game mechanics
So in my opinion is the WIKI worth it .............. ABSOLUTELY !!!
Without a shadow of a doubt it is the only concise source of information on the game that is available
The only suggestion I have is that make it strongly crosslinkable. So that the topics are linked together comprehensively so you can find WHAT you need WHEN you need it
Which the so called in game system really does not do
So as the voice of but one gamer
The answer is a very big yes to the WIKI
I am glad that someone wants to have the role of maintaining it
And I personally look forward to seein the results
