Race/class with specs help

Making some heroes
Im struggling determining what races and classes go together and have the best synergy (new to the game kinda).
I have looked at the recent stats for the PBEM tourney in 2017 but i need some reasons why the race and class are best together.
So far i have played or plan on playing:
Orc theocrat
Frostling necromancer
Dwarf dreadnought
Elf druid
Tigran warlord
Draconian sorcerer
Humans im not sure what best suits them
Halfling im not sure but i have heard necromancer is good
Goblin rogue seems best

Can you guys give me some other really strong combos and reasons why. Or even reasons why race

Well Human theocrat is pretty strong, so is human rogue. Orc warlord is an amazing combo. High Elf arch druid combos pretty well if you ask me.

I'm not convinced orc wartlord is actually very good.

You double down on physical damage but you have little elemental damage or protection, and there are always loads of Undead on the maps.

Halfling Theocrat (Grey Guard adept/Destruction Adept/Creation adept) is where it's at. :^)

Humans dont get any special troop bonuses like the other races do (like fire spit etc) so whats the draw to using them. Also with the racial heritage pack what do you guys think would be their best class? Maybe dread for their airships?

Humans have fast embark and water concealment, so they can make good rogues on continent/islands maps.

I agree with BBB that Orc Warlord is not very good, doubling down on physical damage and not exploiting well the Empire Upgrades of Warlord, with a relatively average Cavalry.

Humans have +10 Prod per city, which makes it possible to 1 turn some units which you usually can't. Their Cavalry can Evolve. Their Knights are pretty good. Their Support has a healing ability.
They have many strong points and are especially good when you want to produce units (and not just mind-control units).

If Orc warlord isnt very good then what else can they do well beside theocrat?

Whats your best race/class combos with specialization?

A good combo can be when the race plugs the class' weaknesses or opens up new options or vice-versa. Orcs only have Physical damage so the classes that open up other damage channels are interesting options.
Orcs have Victory Rush so they compensate well the lack of healing of Rogue and Sorcerer which lack any access to healing.
And finally, you need to think about Empire Upgrades and RG, though here I don't see any very strong synergies (though there are some smaller ones).

All in all, I think Orc Sorcerer and Orc Rogue are interesting synergies due to Victory Rush + Physical & Shock / Blight. That may seem counter-intuitive combos to many people but for instance Jean de Metz, #2 best AoW3 PBEM player used Orc Sorcerer to win vs gabthegab in the 1/4 match of the Duel Tournament.

Personally, I really like Tigran Warlord Grey Guard Master, and Partisan, see my match vs Marcuspers for some explanations. It allows very strong expansion and very good clearing.

The video library has full tournament matches, yes. But the class/race picks are explained only during turn 1 videos.

Dwarf Warlord with Grayguard master + fire adept. I personally think Grayguard goes good with Warlord, and that fire adept helps cover up some of its weaknesses.
