It appears that AoW 3 is 32-bit. I can check the logs later today, but im almost poitive.
According to Apple, “The last macOS release to support 32-bit apps without compromise is macOS High Sierra.” No one outside of Apple knows what this means.
AoW3 is 32-bit, so is the steam client... LoL
Yes, AoW3 is a 32bit application.
At the moment we've not scheduled making a 64bit version of the game, as making that is non-trivial.
Apple's communication on the subject have not been very clear, so its hard to base draw any conclusions on what they plan to support. I'd assume they have something planned for backwards compatibility.

Hi sikbok, do you think it's possible to look at creating 64bit build for Mac, like with Planetfall?
With the rising popularity of the M1 platform, I think it would be good to introduce these new Mac users to this gem of 4X fantasy...especially if AoW 4 is in the works. :)
