i like Global Assault better for getting up an stream running of instant gold medal Knights that got shipped straight into opponents cities with Airships :p
Infinite undead armies? Nearly invincible gold-medal first-strike armies? Double spellcasting? Invisible enemies and ruined economies all around? They're all game-winning. They're meant to be. Dreadnought's Great Mobilisation is slightly weaker but still makes your machines as fast as cavalry and boosts their toughness a lot.
The only issue is that of all the ultimate abilities, the druid's Wild Hunt is by far the most underwhelming.
It's still very nice to have, but it won't actually compensate for weaknesses or really boost your strength like the other abilities do. So yes, it is going to feel weak compared to Armageddon, but also to all other Ultimate abilities.
That said, the Strong Will it provides completely cancels out the weakness to spirit magic from Armageddon, which is its main strength.
Blocking regeneration isn't that strong. Your units can still be healed by magic and healing abilities. It's only natural healing that is stopped. Oh, and Regrowth still works.
Does Armageddon stop healing given via traits ? (Fast Healing,Combat Healing,Iron Heart etc)
does Hospital's instant regeneration got stopped by it ?
does it apply to Master's Guild machine repairs ?
is there some sort of wiki detailing those things.
If i would be considering something OP, then thats the 'True Resurrect' spell. It can be used to resurrect friend and foe alike, and you got to keep the units after the battle. So go adopt all those Champion 3 Elder Eldritch Horrors, or whatever end tier units your Knights have just slain. I hadnt try yet but you can probably adopt the enemy heroes too.
Yes, yes, no, not sure but probably. It also stops regeneration. (But not Regrowth.)
Rule of thumb is it stops passive regeneration, but not active healing. And well, not regrowth, but nothing stops that.
Not sure, but I very much doubt it. Machines do not regenerate health anyway.
Sure is: http://age-of-wonders-3.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Armageddon

The wiki has more details, and is the way to go if you really want to understand the game. The tumblr database has better ways of sorting and organising data and provides a great overview. It's also prettier. It's best if you want to look something up, or look for fun race-class synergies.
Yeah, that one is kinda not-fun. But it's also a secret spell that appears quite rarely.
It should probably just be restricted to your own units, huh?
yeah i think True Resurrect should be changed so you can only use it to resurrect your own units.
Necromancers should get a different spell that allows them to bring back any unit, friend or enemy, as undead.
