Issues logging in, acticating accounts and starting multiplayer matches.
Hi everyone,


With the give-away we have a lot of people joining us. Welcome, hope you'll enjoy.

Seems we underestimated the peak load we'd see on our servers.
This load is causing people to have issues:
  • Logging in.
  • Activating Triumph accounts.
  • Starting multiplayer sessions.

We have increased capacity and hope things will run smoothly now. Please post here if that is not the case.

If there are any issues while we are unavailable - the team works on CET - please play using the 'Guest (offline) account'. That will allow you to play everything except multiplayer.

EDIT: Repurposed this topic from informing people of the server being down for an upgrade, to a topic to collect reports and keep you informed.

If you are in a multiplayer game already I'd guess there should be little impact.

If you are setting up a game the connectivity is a measure of quality of connection between you and the other player's, not to the server.

Then again, this is not something we do often on a Friday night. So I might be mistaken.

UPDATE: Servers are back up and running again. Please let us know if you are still having issues.

I am having an issue creating a game online, a friend of mine is too saying neither of us have good connectivity but this is the only game we have had this issue with.

Server are back up, so any connectivity issues are likely unrelated.
Please have a look at our Multiplayer Connection Guide[ageofwonders.com] to see if that resolve your issue.

Well, I tried activating the game with the steam account thingy and the box where it supposed to pop up the activated keys is still blank and doesn't allow me to join multiplayer.

Have you tried again? We had some server issue yesterday - CET - which might have impacted your registration process. If you keep having trouble, please contact us on aow3support@triumphstudios.com.

I have no idea where else to ask for help but the launcher won't work, like it won't even pull up a screen to link stuff or any thing. I've loged out of steam ,reloged in, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verifyed the intergity of the files, i have no anti virus measure (that i can see) that would interfer and have no clue how to fix this

Sorry to hear it's not working for you. Can you give me a bit more information, so we can figure out what might be going wrong?
Does the AoW3 Launcher start? If so, where exacly do you get stuck. And, what kind of system are you on? I.e. desktop/laptop, Mac/Linux/Windows, etc.
