But that's an overkill. Juggernaut loses badly vs any good melee unit. Machines can't fight back.
Sabotage ability (Scoundrel etc.) and Rot (water adept) - very effective against machines.
Step 2: Profit
Keep note, don't just put your units in a 2-hex line around it. Broadside may still hurt.
Fire immune units are reccomended if you have access, since they take half damage from the Mortar. However, units that are flying or fast are even more reccomended, since they can close the distance faster.
Really? I have been overlooking an easy kill then.
