Online multiplayer only or LAN / split-screen, too?

So, any offline multiplayer for this? Also, does it have any coöp modes or just pew-pew > respawn-athons?

They have a sort-of coop mode. It pits 2 teams of 3 against eachother to fight against waves of Akrid and see who survives against everything.

^ So, that's like some online-only mode, right? No way to play it with a team of two...?
