I was quicker killing a scorpion on foot than drilling it with a mech that is supposed to be able to make holes in very hard materials. Bullets can penetrate the glowing areas but they can withstand the force applied by the rig via hydraulic systems...sure.
I was only using the mouse to move my targeting reticule around. Didn't know about using W to stretch the tail out. I was better at taking out the Scorpion in Pickett's Folly on foot. I've tried approaching the one on top of Shak's Peak on foot, but it doesn't come out of it's burrow unless I'm in the Rig.
To be fair, this could have very well been intentional. Developers have been putting puzzles like this in games just to make it more difficult. Could just be a very poorly added one.
Thank You!
