alien breed trilogy. games do not play

I bought and installed the alien breed trilogy.

breed 1 does not even launch and 2 and 3 give me a, "PhysX not installed or corrupt. please reinstall PhysX.", error message.

apparently the games don' like the newer PhysX software.

the 5-10 year old solution was to install legacy drivers [www.nvidia.com]

seems simple enough.
but,i have a INTEL HD 630, not an NVIDIA card. i would not have the NVIDIA PhysX drivers to begin with. i am concerned there might be problems and conflicts in my system:
INTEL Core i5-7400 @ 3.00GHz
INTEL HD 630
16GB
win 10 64 bit

I have played and completed all three.

the question is which version of physx. discussions from 2013-2015 talked about the fact that the games hated the then modern physx drivers and one should install a legacy driver like NVIDIA PhysX 9.13.0604 [www.nvidia.com], i am also worried about conflicts with my intel hd 630 card's software.

i don't have an nvida card, i have an intel hd 630. i would not have any physx drivers installed at all. and, as mentioned above, problems with the physx drivers were a very common problem in 2013-2015. (one problem is: no current information on such and old game)

so, the current physx driver has no issues?

Hmm well I have a geforce card but when it asks to install the physx all the time just hit cancel and the game should start. it doesnt need to install it everytime but it likes to try.

I would just install the one it comes with if it wants to install it let it.
Usually when you launch the game it asks to either update repair or uninstall phys x but if you have it installed already then you just hit cancel.
This time though sounds like you dont have it so install it from the prompt or check the game folder there should be a physx folder in it.

no physx file in game folders. but, i did download and install phsyx 9.19.0218 from the nvida site. the games play fine now and and the physx don't seem to be causing any issues in my system.

Using AMD GPU & CPU in Win11 here. Nope, I installed PhysX 9.19.0218 from nVidia. It still says no PhysX installed.

Even installed PhysX Legacy, it still won't run
