Are there any TRULY OP classes/Combos ?
I find ASSASSIN/GOBLIN *very* overpowered (except on some levels). I also think that tinkerer is quite powerful but I found transmuter disappointingly weak. Does anyone have any tips for certain classes or want to give me examples of when goblassin (hahahahahaha) Isn't OP?

I'm not very good at this game so that's why my argument may seem flawed :)

P.S I'm still stuck on Muu. I get the feeling I'll never beat it D: I was 1 hit away from winning ;_;

P.P.S This is a really disjointed question. I think it's more me rambling but oh well. I do that when I'm happy :)

Well there is the goblin sorcerer worshiping mysteria, which is basically a infinite fireball barage.

The good old orc rouge of jehora or glowing guardian, which can beat you any vicious dungeon on purist (you need to scum for the god)

Bloodmage + everything, he is that powerfull but you need to konw how to youse him.

Muu:

Prep binlor he will help with the wall problem.

Try to kill targets as high as possible to not wake up rex to quickly.

For the 3 classes
Warlord- The cydstepp should do the job
Fighter- Save your death protection and youse fireballs to kill him.
Berserker - Taurog is your firiend, if you are sure you are able to do with the wall problem.

Hope this helps.

Perfect :D Thank you so much! I haven't unlocked bloodmage or BLUDTOPOWA so no spoilers please :)

My personal favourite "OP" strategy remains the Orc Rogue of Glowing Guardian, which has an answer to practically everything the game throws at you. Other than the already-mentionned strategies, here are a few more very strong builds (though they tend to require a bit more "work" and game knowledge to really leverage their power):

-Orc Wizard (usually with prepared Binlor): The fabled "Punchomancer" strategy, which primarily relies on the PISORF glyph boosted by the Orc trait for damage. The fantastic thing about this build is that it can do pretty much anything; you start with the Fireball and PISORF for access to both types of damage, and Binlor gives you fantastic damage boosts that synergize incredibly with the Orc. You have the extra inventory space and glyph-draining attribute of the Wizard which let you adjust to what the dungeon gives you. And Binlor gives you both permanent and temporary resistances. One of the most deceptively powerful strategies in the game.

-Human/Orc Paladin of Glowing Guardian/Dracul with Dragon Shield prepared. There isn't that much to say here, other than the fact that high resistances is the most powerful perk in the game. Glowing Guardian is still overal one of the best deities to worship monotheistically, and Paladins not only get a discount on boons but get to drink their potions without any penalties if timed right. Dracul, on the other hand, boosts your resistances even further and has the most absurdly powerful healing boons in the game (again at a discount). The Dracul version is a bit harder to pull off since you have to know when to use or not use HALPMEH, but is probably more powerful overall.

-Gnome Warlord of Jehora Jeheyu: Boost your mana to obscene levels. Cast CYDSTEP forever. Again, not much else to say here, Jehora is fairly straightforward once you get over the initial pre-petition worship. If you're preparing Jehora, don't forget to also prepare a Compression seal or you'll be swearing under your breath constantly :P

-Orc Monk of Taurog: The easiest Monk to play, and definitely one of the strongest. The two best things you can do as a Monk is to boost your damage and raise your resistances further, and Taurog provides for both. You may want to look into means of boosting your Magic Resistances (Dragon Shield works well here as always), but otherwise there are few things that can stop this build.

Finally, I'd like to comment a bit about the Transmuter: he definitely isn't weak, but he's also one of the more complex classes to play effectively, and requires good game knowedge to use effectively. Starting with LEMISI is actually a huge bonus: the tiles it reveals favour revealing objects of interest such as shops, glyphs and (most importantly) altars, giving you tons of information to direct your exploration and save on blackspace in the long run. If you remember to repetaedly cast low-cost glyphs (BISEPS, GETINDARE) as you explore, you'll end up with a nicely boosted CP pool that can be used to give yourself a Strength Potion to power through high-level foes. Low-cost, High-CP items (like Stone Heart, Balanced Dagger, etc.) are useful for triggering the effect, and you end up with a *lot* of your race's bonus on top of it. It definitely requires practice and careful monitering of your CP, but I actually find the Transmuter to be a very rewarding class to play.

Well, that's my novel for the day :P Good luck in the dungeons!

Absolutely brilliant! I despise GG and can't seem to play him effectively as he seems to hate everything and constantly clears my inventory.

I never thought about Orc Wizard. That's damn smart! I'm gonna try that!

I haven't unlocked Paladin yet and I don't want any spoilers :P

Orc Monk of Taurog? Seems crazy but then again I've never really had time for monks

Gnome Warlord of JJ? I hate JJ's punishments but that again is a really good idea. Something tells me you've beaten this game xD

Transmuters ARE useful :) I might go and try one after I've 100%'d Venture Cave

Thanks so much :)

I think the most important thing about the transmuter is his spirit sword, using it on certain situations should give you the 3-5 lvl higher kill.

If you hit 25, your Mana Potions will restore 10 mana each. Fun times!

Nothing nearly as broken as the old Vampire used to be ;)

We saw some sub-60s runs with that thing...

sub-60's?

Also, I want you to know how much I LOVE your game! It's so damn unique :D It requires so much strategy but also a LOT of choice predungeon chooses your fate. The humour isn't comedy gold, it's comedy PLATINUM! Thank you so much for making it and I wish you lots of success in the future!

I'd say once your get your mitts on the Avatar's Codex and start using it well, there are a lot of tricks you can pull off that will wipe out monsters pretty easily. That item is almost a build on its own.

Having just unlocked the Rock Heart (and as a fan of both sorcerers and Binlor I am gonna LOVE this thing) I have to say, Goblin Transmuter worked surprisingly well. Kind of like a more technical fighter, plus, if you time a conversion right and gain a level, you get both the Spirit Sword effect AND the full-heal for gaining a level. Beefy stuff, that.

Rock Heart is so much fun. Prep that on an Orc Wizard of Binlor and smash everything with 2 MP, healing Pisorfs.

Nice :) Haven't unlocked Rock Heart yet but it sounds fun :D
Must. Resist. Urge. To. Google. It. RESIST D:
