Spinning rear wheels
Does anyone have this problem or knows how to fix this. I understand that with turbo charging there is some spinning of rear wheels. But no matter how I set up in game of slowly accelarate out of corners, my rear wheels spin and I just keep on getting passed by everyone else. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

don't go below 3rd gear or maybe 4th

try to change gear

Thanks. I will try. Does it actually work if gears are automatic?

I've been running in Manual-Suggested because what I would normally naturally do with the gearbox doesn't seem to be good. I can't say that Automatic is "better" but it may be if you're not shifting right which is definitely a possibility if you're shifting like 2013.

The hardest thing I've found is Career mode with Marussia at Melbourne. The very last corner is so extremely hard to take full speed. In a Red Bull or something like that it's even one of those things you have to lift on but seriously wheel spin is extreme in this game especially launching at the start. No matter what I do I cannot keep grip. I cannot keep my tires from spinning and burning up, and I cannot even hold my position at launch. I've tried knocking it down to Lean mixture at launch but that still doesn't really matter. Guess I just need a lot more practice.

I run with automatic transmission. I'm able to avoid wheel spin by simply accelerating slowly out of the turn or at race start. If I accelerate too quickly I will get wheel spin.

You may also want to check and make sure your Throttle Saturation setting is turned down very low or set to 0%. I have mine set to 1% and I'm able to avoid spin. It should be noted that I use the G27 wheel and pedals.

Go into lean fuel mix and short-shift out of the corner.

Whats the point in using a G27 if your using automatic? Man up and turn off all those assists and crank the force feedback up

I've played with a standard transmission plenty of times. I just prefer the automatic. I don't need the manual to make the wheel fun. I still have a blast with it!

The spinning of rear wheels is providing a nice challenge that i'm enjoying in the dry.
In the wet however it's impossible :(
So far trying to stick to high gears but I'm just so much slower than everyone...
Any tips?

The thing that's working for me is accelerating very slowly. There's a fine line between wheel spin and getting smoked by the other cars at the start of the race. Takes a good bit of practice to get used to after being able to put the pedal down much quicker in F1 2013.

Also, if you don't have your Throttle Saturation turned down very low already, you may want to try turning it down to 0% or 1%. I haven't been able to run away and leave anyone at the start of the race yet but, I'm not getting left behind either.

I can not spin the wheels in the wet, I'm just very slow.
Pedals already down to 0% saturation, I'd still like to blame them though :P

Try Running a wider trackbar at the back. Maybe some toe in so the tire points towards the front.:wheel:

Keep practicing and you'll get the feel for it. You might also want to try what snookster1 recommended.
