Well, that's not correct, see Vettel at Spa for example.

You might be getting confused with DRS, which is still in game and there is a button for.
Is from January. Since then, some teams, specifically in my example, Red Bull. Have developed a push to pass system using thier ERS.

So while it would be 'nice' to have this feature in the game, its probably getting a little too advanced for the casual nature of this game... unfortunately :(
