Game won't start

Hi guys,

Just bought the game today on Steam but its unable to start. A windows pops out saying that F1 2014 is starting, then the window fade away and it says ''synchronising'' for a little time. Then it does nothing.. All my other games are working fine, whats the problem?

First check if you have updated your graphics card driver,and if your computer is up to date with the latest updates

Everything is checked, my system is up to date. I've checked several threats here and I see this problem is very common. Does anybody have a solution for this please

When I try to start it from my Windows map (so not with Steam) it says this error: (0xc000007b)

I found this on the internet otherwise is for another game
You can check is the same error code

Thanks for the reply. But i don't think this is the solution. But I read some topics where people say they have the same problem but what is the solution of it?

When i click the Start button in steam my cursor changes to the loading circle and then there happens nothing..

Anybody with a solution to solve this?

OK. Delite Steam and install it new, after newstart from your PC. But don´t forget your Password.
When you start it at next time, I think it works normaly.

No success, I even dit a reinstall of the game but i have the same issue. When I play the game in big picture mode and press play on it, it says ''synchronising''.. but also won't start.

Just did a long time of research to find a solution. For the ones who still finding the solution of this problem: 1. First it's a problem based on OS. Windows 8.1 users suffers mostly ffrom this problem, there are some files needed in your Windows to extract F1 2014. These files are not included by a standard install from Windows so you have to download them manually.
Just use this video to install those files and make your game working on Steam!

I did send a ticket already to Steam yesterday, but i expect they will read it about a half year or so ;D
