first person or 3rd person or over the shoulder ?

to me dead island is a frist person game and over the shoulder shooters are to me bad consol ports.
from the clips it looks like the latter so i am thinking will dead island2 be like this ?
it could be very well made but if its just over the soulder port i will not get it and the same for dl2

I know DL2 will be first person and while I'm not sure Escape dead island looks like it will be 3rd person. (very different but I'll probably give it a chance wether its 3rd or 1st person.)

It's third person most of the time, except when you use the guns. Then it turns to over-the-shoulder view.

if its not first person all the way other than story clips i wont be getting it

I guess its just preference I never really cared whether it was 1st/3rd person.
