TRAINING NEEDS TO BE MORE EASIER
Training to spend skill points needs a lot of changes! Either the devs need to remove training sessions (because everybody is complaining that it's too hard) OR they apply a new system that allows you to spend your skill points without FAILING!
How the hell can you progress your career player if you fail every training session all because you can't hit a stupid target?! Why put limited chances and spend the entire week just to apply 1 skill point?!

First thing they need to do is applying a marker so that you have a clue where you are aiming. Now I don't have a clue and it all seems a bit random.

Agreed. Something needs to change to make training easier or spending skill points easier.
Yes, having you fail is pretty dumb.

yes its hard to play like this, skil points i dont get because training its much to hard
Yes, I've done over ten training sessions in a row and have yet to pass one time.
Agree! The training is ridiculous!
So I'm enjoying this game and even just wishlisted it based on this free weekend, but there is zero chance I buy it until the training is changed.

Just let us upgrade our players with our skill points without having to do some difficult, grindy minigame. Or leave the minigames in (I think that's a cool idea for teaching different advanced shots for example) but let you allocate the points even if you fail.

Hell, if that change was made, I'd honestly probably buy the game at full price.
Agree. Stopped playing, because of the training.
Same here... I just got the game last week. Played my first tournament. It was OK (though some of the control system changes from AO2 to here annoyed me, I was getting by). Then I got to training and was like, oh heck no. I succeeded at the first, failed at the second. But it's not success/failure. It's that I have earned skill points in match play that I can't spend, because I was unable to hit arbitrary and highly artificial targets in training. What the heck? So what I learned in match play, what... I forgot because I hit some serves out in training?? Makes no sense.

I'm done until they patch this out. My preference... let me allocate skill points, but let training earn me XP to gain them faster. Then if I want to train, I will "level up" faster. If not, I have to "level up" on the court. Kind of how McEnroe hated practice, so he played doubles to get in "extra practice" and real-life "leveled up" in match play rather than in practice. If I want to do that, I should be able to.
Agree, one of the only tennis game I like, good enough gameplay (only with assisted mode), and a unique roster, but not only having to do the drills to assign skills, but also that you can't retry them, it's a big NO for me.
I hope they make it at least possible to retry the drills. Will not be playing much in this way.
When it comes to training in career mode, I feel like AO2 was the gold standard. I was able to pick which skill I wanted to drill, and drill it using a variety of possible different drills, so that i could train what I thought I needed instead of what the game thinks I need.

Same, this is the worst training mode I have played, 10 training for nothing it's too hard.
