Just marketing my friend... Topspin everyone is going to play even if they re not tennis fans, just because they used to play a few years ago... but for me Tiebreak is going in a better way. Tiebrake is still in EA, we re here trying to give the best outputs so the devs can qork on that patch by patch.
Topspin is a full realed game ( and for a full release.. not great).
And please if you dont like the game just ignore the comments and go play another thing... its not the first time you come to comment with that irony and negativity. Thanks!
I have to agree with you mate. I have both games and although Tiebreak is not as developed as TopSpin2k25 it is better quality and it's potential is far better in my opinion than TopSpin2K25.... I think 2K25 are and will continue simply to milk the clients for every bit of money they can, and any real updates will simply be assigned to next years version where we will be expected to pay another £100 for that version too! It's disgusting the way they are selling that game, they are taking advantage of the length of time people have been waiting for a truly decent tennis game since the previous TopSpin game
I'm sticking with Tiebreak myself. I think it's potential is much better and certainly the quality is getting much better than TopSpin's version 2K25, that's for sure. Plus the fact that Tiebreak has the official licensing of both the ATP & WTA Tour organisations, and the fact that Novak has allowed his avatar to be used in this game speaks volumes considering his stance on games lately. I'm definitely sticking with TieBreak where we can all have impact on how it's developed overall creating the game we all want, and not getting ripped-off in the process with obnoxious game prices of £50-£100 a game plus all the micro transactions they are piling into their game, disgusting to say the least!
Tiebreak has potential, but the gameplay isn't really good at the moment in my opinion. Let's take the returns. You have to hold down the hit button to get power and length into the shot, but the reaction time on the serve is super short. That's why I often have the problem that my returns end up in the net. If I try to give the input earlier, the shot is not recognized because I seem to press too early... From my point of view, this is a superfail at this point, because this gameplay decision gets in its own way a little.
The positioning to the ball doesn't work well either, at some point the game has to take over, otherwise you can't sprint well to the right, for example, and then hit a long ball to the left, the player often breaks off the movement for me and no shot is executed, but that can still happen.
But I already always have the same ball when serving, like in the old FIFA games, where the same shots were always fired from certain angles. That worries me a bit. In any case, I'm excited to see how it develops, graphically it's already a bomb!
Im so glad to hear this. Im so happy that I bought your game few months earlier. I can see the development, You are goin in the right direction so far. This will be a massive tennis game but we need, slams, we need various clothing assets in a player creation so we can create the rest missing players plus I'd like to see more animations, like walkin on court before the match.
