Q: What is a Millennium Girl?

Millennium Girl is a simulation game where you play as a parent raising your daughter in a span of 8 years. It’s very similar to GAINAX’s Princess Maker series and Hanako Games’ Long Live the Queen- where you manage them, raise stats, and decide what kind of life they should have, or up to 40 different careers, etc. Also, Millennium Girl has a variety of endings you can unlock based on several factors, such as stats or NPCs you are interacting with. And, the most FUN part of Millennium Girl would be finding the hidden stories and events

Millennium Girl is developed by 10.1 Lightning Party Studio in a company called V-sister.

Q: What engine is Millennium Girl built on?

Unity 3D

Q: Is there 4K and ultra-wide support?

No.

Q: Is Millennium Girl streamer friendly? (copyrighted music, etc.)

Of course! Yes!

Q: Is there a good way to contact the developers?

You can contact the developers through the discord ticketing system. Just open a ticket in ⁠open-ticket [canary.discord.com] , ask about your issue, and wait for the response.

Q: What languages is Millennium Girl available in?

It will be available in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, German, and Spanish.

Q: Does the game feature microtransactions or DLCs?

There will be DLC related to appearance/costumes in-game. It's optional and mainly for cosmetics purposes only.

Q: Will there be a port for consoles?

Yes! There will be one for the Joypad. We currently don’t support Steam Deck but we are planning to do so.

Q: What is the main gameplay loop of Millennium Girl?

Parenting is a series of choices. As the player raises the girl, she either works to earn money or receives education, depending on the player’s choices. Sometimes, she can go on adventures, fight monsters, and socialize with various NPCs. The players can also find hidden stories and treasures through events as well. After eight years, the girl becomes an adult and unlocks endings with additional rewards (such as past life rewards to make the game a little easier to play in subsequent playthroughs). Users will play multiple times to unlock different endings, with the ultimate goal of collecting all of them.

Q: Will the game be ported to Linux and Mac?

We have no plans to support Macs at this time, but we may do so in the future.

Q: Will you be able to play the game against friends or in co-op?

No, Millennium Girl is a single play!

Q: Is there some sort of Wiki to get information about the game?

No, there isn’t.

Q: Is the roadmap everything that is coming to the game ever?

Additional stories, events, etc. may be updated.

Q: Where is the roadmap?

We don't have one yet, but we are working on building one in the future.

Q: Is there some sort of press kit or place for me to find images from the game to use for anything I want?
