How to join public lobby

I just bought the game and I wanna join a public lobby to play with random people online. But when I tried to join, it only shows a empty window with nothing to join. Did I do something wrong?

Thank you for reaching out. You didn’t do anything wrong; the issue is due to the small player base. To find people to play with, you can join our Discord server, https://discord.gg/tjkpTEDxKF and use the #matchmaking channel to connect with other players.
