Best Tanking and AOE Heroes

Which are the Best AOE Hero and Tanking Hero.

AOE I would say Thor, Storm, Human Torch, Scarlet Witch and Jean Grey... tanking is kind of hard with defense broken but Colossus, Thing and Capitan America are the best ones to mitigate damage.

Ms Marvel is a lot tankier since her recent buffs. Crashdown Strike and Stellar Flare do a fair amount of AE damage also, so she's pretty good in MM...where AE is basically required. Only boss she can't face tank with stellar flare bubble on is Mega Sentinel. She can still tank him with Photon Defense, but you do little or no damage...can mix in a few punches between blocking if you get bored. Gets it done a lot faster if somebody stays close to him so he keeps stomping instead of laser beaming people to death.

Captain America is still almost unkillable, but he does pathetic dps and I get bored playing him. Thing is still a solid tank. Never played Colossus far enough to find out how good he is at L30+. Hulk can be built very tanky also now. Ms Marvel is a happy medium for me, you have decent offense and are tanky enough to do a lot. Will have to see how things shake out when the big defense changes they are working on come out.

Ms marvel is definetly a lot better now , actually fun to play after changes. I can still go down very quick in group missions to normal blokes with switchblades!! but i guess the defence fix should help there. I'd say hulk is the best tank though , he's a bit mental.

Thor as mentioned is pretty good as tank if specced right. He is a monster with AOE though, especially if you run the survivor maps and just notch up your loot items.

Human Torch is insanely powerful for AOE, but extremely squishy.

Thor as mentioned, can take a beating has good dps & an aoe attack that melts mobs. there is allot of options with Aoe type heroes. Captain america is best tank, with quick block can survive almost anything, takes the most amount of damage. Can solo reds pretty easily

Nobody mentions the Thing. Come on, he's tanky as all get out AND he gives a massive damage bonus to all his team members with his Aggressive Aura. An aura that gives +400 (more than 1000 with synergies) damage to everyone in your group (and yourself of course) is nothing to sneeze at.

Wolverine can tank, just keep upgrading that Healing Factor and Berserker Fury, coupled with Adamantium Bones and whatever his dodge passive is, nothing can damage you quick enough to kill you, and if they do, you just Ult and get right back up and start swinging again

HT is the best aoe hero by far. Almost every atk is aoe with a dot burn. Unless you use Juggernaut's medallion, he can be squishy, but it doesn't matter because he's so fast and does so much dmg mobs never really get anywhere close to you.
