This should then give you enough to random a hero as above (BE AWARE- random does mean random. There is a chance you will get the same hero again!). You may also have enough to get a 400 splinter hero by the time you finish tho, so also bear that in mind
@Deko; Stefan mentioned that you'll get Eternity Splinters after completing the storyline, and I think you get 200 once you finish the main storyline. (100 somewhere, and 100 somewhere else, which I believe is as Stefan stated: 100 after Goblin, 100 after Doom.)
That being said, I would urge/encourage you to pick up a Starter Character that can help you ease the tension of farming sessions/gameplay seeing as how this game as an ARPG mimicks the concept of farm for loot.
The best choices I would advise you with - if I recall the Starters properly - would be Rocket Raccoon, Human Torch, or Storm. These Characters are Mass AoE type of Characters, so with any Free Boosts you get from Promotions, they'll assist you greatly. Even without Boosts, you'll be able to clear waves in droves to level up your Character to 60 quite quickly through Holo Sim/X-Def, etc. I'd probably either pick Human Torch or Storm before Rocket to be honest, but he's a good solid pick as well when you start leveling him past a certain point...Or so I hear.
You have my condolences.
I got excited about getting Ghost Rider... Yes...
Very first random I pulled way back when I started playing. Imagine my surprise and delight. ^_^
