Let's support Marvel Heroes on GoG
I'm not sure if anything can come from it.
I'd be happy even if they made an offline version.

The company that made and published Marvel Heroes (Gazillion) is no longer around and GOG can't just add it unofficially when Marvel licenses still apply. If they could get Disney's blessing it might work (unlikely given that it was Disney that killed the game in the first place!) but then they would still need to acquire the game from unofficial sources, which no doubt has other legal issues attached to it.

Yea unless Disney makes it official, there is no coming back.
Only choice we have so far is the project T.A.H.I.T.I which works to an extent.

And once you get the license to use the Marvel IP, then you have to get the green light from the owner of the copyrights for the game/server. And good luck getting favorable terms out of them once they know you've got Disney's permission (since those permissions are both expensive and pointless without the game's copyrights too).

At the end of the day, nobody is touching this game in an official capacity ever again. Way too much risk, not remotely enough reward.

I would just like to point out it wouldn't hurt a dang thing to at least ASK GoG to preserve it
Thanks for sharing, I've added my story. I don' t have much hope but it's always great to see that this game is missing for a lot of other people
You can host your own "server" with MHServerEmu. As long as you still have the game on your Steam list, you can redownload all of the game's files, setup the server emulator and play solo.
Anyway, i upvote it ;)
