Problem with game, can't login. (Problem fixed by tech support)

I've tried countless times to login to Marvel Heroes, but its told me incorrect email/ password every dam time. I've been able to login with my pass/ email on the official website, but not the actual game. I thought at first it could be a temptorary server problem such as maintanence, but this is quite ridiculous! If I can/ do login I'll look into unlocking/ buying Blade (When he's out and if I can login).

1. I've tried checking through Steam if I had all the correct game files. It did its thing and said one was missing and so it supposedly downloaded it. Still couldn't login.

2. I'm currently re-installing after un-installing. I've been unable to play for a few weeks now, I hope its not a bug. After spending $ on it, the level of suckyness has nearly trippled.

3. This shouldn't be an account problem as I've only used the free-be codes and made 2-3 payments through Steam for special curency (which I used on stash space, name change, and upgrading my Loki with the Agent of Asgard outfit).

4. By the way, every time I try to change my pass and login it still fails. It registers on the website and I can login/ access my account on the website, but the game says "NOPE" every time. Regardless of what I do via account managament.

I'll probably vent any frustration from this on GTA , but geez this really sucks. Fingers crossed that my re-instal plan will help.

i had this drive me crazy as well, and it was simple. In my case i didn't notice that the save email box was checked and my email was wrong on the game login page.

update:

I've loaded up the game and tried to login with my accounts email, but no luck. I'm really unsure of what the problem is exactly, but I'll keep looking into it.

My login information is fine/ correct, but I keep getting the following message "incorrect username or password".

Update#2:

I can't even download the game now, it keeps crashing and saying its Currupt. I guess I gotta play the "waiting" game now.

Have you tried changing your passsword from the Marvel site to see if that fixes anything?
Have you tried letting a trusted friend/relative sign in from thier PC?

I'll need my friend to sign into Steam. I haven't tried that yet though. I could try to change my password again, but I'm not going to get my hopes up, lol.

Okay, so update #3.
I personally believe that the problem may have happened from an update or patch not being done quite right. No tech support or major help on here yet, but for anyone who has tried I want to say thank you. I may not be able to play again for quite some time though. We'll see...

Fixes tried:

I finally re-installed after an attempt to fix it and after said attempt broke it quite badly. The re-install took a while as the thing kept crashing part way through.

I sent support a ticket through technical / account as I'm out of ideas for fixes. Please don't ask/ tell me to change password again. I've done it maybe 4-5 times or more with no luck on a fix.

My account information doesn't work on the game, instead gives me the following error message "Incorrect username or password" Account information works perfectly fine on the website. <- LOGIC (This is literally my only problem in terms of not being able to play or login at all)

I've also unistalled and re-installed more times than I would've liked too.

I've logged out of and back into Steam too

I've tried messing with the Win32/ 64 but it messed up the first time I tried and out of fear of breaking things I am not doing that again. (I know nothing of coding, so #AllMyNope)

Conclussion: Its STILL BROKEN and not fixable on my end. If tech support can't fix the problem on their end then goodbye Loki, Deadpool, and DareDevil. Plus levels, gear, in game special currency junk, ect. I say "their" end because, it is their servers and I've checked my account information repeatedly already. It works on the offical game website, but not the offical game. I'll wait for a reply as I've tried and exhausted a ton of troubleshooting ideas already.

I'm actually sick of this nonsense. I have spent time with my characters so losing them would suck; might not be so bad though as I haven't "no-lifed" the game yet (Still sucks). Oh, I have also checked google and a ton of other people have had connection/ login problems too. WTF

1. I have changed my password repeatedly, no luck. Same offical website.

2. I don't really know of anyone at the moment. My boyfriend lives too far away and I'd only get a chance to try using his Steam/ computer on weekends. My brothers computer is a broken pile of trash (long story short - I grew tired of cleaning up malware, viruses, ect) Literally I was the only one who cared, checked and used anti-virus or anti-malware programs. As for my mom, she'd kill me for trying. Sister is probably a nope as well.

Thank you for trying, but I think tech-support will have to deal with this.

Thats odd, you could try waiting a bit or submiting a ticket to support. I have to message back on mine about how I still cannot login and play. *sigh*

You could try some of things I have, like change password or re-install. I don't really know whats going on though. Just a lot of people can't access the game it seems.

i cam accross this thread and even ihave the same problem i have a lot of good characters in the game like deadpool and venom and i dont wanna lost em i havent played the game in over a year and i re installed it now i cant login in the website neither the game even i need help guys i love this game

Hello. I can play the game and have been able to after going back and forth between emailing tec/ game support and waiting for replies. It took quite a while to finally get my account to login properly. Eventually the dev/ tec I was emailing/ talking to loged in with my account and seemed to have fixed it.

I know the porblem is strange and super annoying and frustrating. In the end, only tec support helped me. Try emailing them about the problem with all the information you can get or have and hopefuly it can be fixed. Good luck, and sorry I cant be of much help. I haven't played or tried to play recently, but I have not had the same problem happen again yet.
