Your refund is dead; much like Gazillion Entertainment.
WarLyric Feb 20, 2018 @ 4:09pm
Scammed again so when is the class action lawsuit coming.......
Battle_Hymn Feb 20, 2018 @ 4:15pm
And who exactly are you going to sue?
WarLyric Feb 20, 2018 @ 4:23pm
Well it was more of a rhetorical question but how about Dave Dohrmann he seems to have a lot of money or i would settle with Disney since they were the ones to pull the license.
Brigandine Feb 20, 2018 @ 4:59pm
In a perfect world, maybe.
WarLyric Feb 20, 2018 @ 5:01pm
Not really class action lawsuits happen all the time.

Seeing as it's Disneys IP they can do what the hell they like with it.Plus you didn't o
own anything in MHO,You just paid for a licence to access the IP,so good luck with that.

Next time try reading he EULA.

You are defedning there actions lmfao what a loser
Random Accuracy Feb 23, 2018 @ 9:01pm
Not defending thier actions, but I doubt you will ever see a refund for PC, nothing illegal was done and as the previous poster mentions, we really didn't own anything it was all use of license. If I recall, it was the agreements with Xbox and Playstation that initiated the refunds, unless they had a similar agreement with Steam... well...all we get is the memories. I miss this game.

Unless your asking for a refund for stuff you bought 30 days or less before it ended then youre just being an entitled prick. No one owes you anything, you got what you paid for and had time to enjoy it (less you again bought it less than 30 days before it ended)

I hate the game ended as much as you but none of these purchases where promised to last X amount of time. Just the lifespan od the game, which they did. So all these "wheres my refund for stuff I bought 6 months ago" post are outright laughable

How about those of us that had bought G's before the announcement and it all just rotted. At the very least any G's you had in your account should have been converted to a refund. I don't expect them to refund my bad ass Hulk Buster costume that I bought ages ago, I used it and got plenty of enjoyment out of it. but having currency on the account and it just poofs gone bahbye.. no, that is pretty damn close to theft if you ask me.

Wrong..this was the ploy and reason for ridding of hard copy games..when you buy a hard copy game you install, click and play 4 ever ... take time from game, come back ..play some more..rinse and repeat!!.Therefore...
We DID NOT get what we paid for..We did not intend on buying a game only to see it UNAVAILABLE to play ...within ANY "time frame!!"
There was no agreement .anywhere{from us}..in which we would pay for this game only to see it END !!
If..IN FACT..the game would have been advertised and sold with "such an aggreement"..I amongst .many others would NEVER have purchased the "license rights'{as you put it}..in the first place
With that being said...WE are OWED a REFUND for the purchase of a game that DOES NOT EXIST !!

No. We aren't. All EULA that you agree to by launching the game (and clicking the agree button), for online games state that any money spent is to access the items offered only during their window of availablity and that the window can close at any time.

You can't sue them over terms you agreed to by playing.
JoeWoo Mar 27, 2018 @ 6:38am
Also, their is the fact that Marvel Heroes was "Free-to-Play."

It was not ever required to purchase the game or purchase any of the content or extras to have the ability to play the game.

You've never had a game "sunset" on you before have you. lol...no...apparently NOT! When you purchase currency, you do so at your own risk. The EULA states this clearly. I felt the same way the first time one "sunset" on me. Get over it and move on. Try spending 1500 bucks on something like "Lord of Ultima" for one world, take second place, then have it sunset. You learn your lesson that a FREE to play game is exactly that. Anything you purchase is all on you. Nobody is defending them, just saying you are WAY off base, and acting like a spoiled child. You just ain't gonna' get what you want. Deal with it and move on.
