Many F2P games are doing great. It's not a matter of money but a matter of how you manage it.
Also MH died because Disney pulled the plug, as well as a lot of scandals inside the workforce of Gazillion, a simple internet search will reveal that to you.
it was a legit question and you had no right to just attack the guy that posted that (also looking for another game like that and that is why I found this thread and answering to trolling right-wings now) .
This was not the reason MHO died... Disney pulled the licence due to things Gazillions CEO did that was about to become news and Disney quickly distanced themselves from the company.
What you will get is a pretty solid Infinity War stone story that draws from all corners of the marvel universe. Unlike Marvel's Avengers? You get the Guardians, Avengers, Spider-Man and co., You get the Defenders, and the freaking X-men and even the Fantastic Four if your willing to pay for the DLC. There's a lot of content and plenty of heroes to play with.
I know it's asking a lot to tell someone to buy a system for one game. But if your a fan of Marvel? It's a decent time and there are plenty of other titles on Switch worth a look. You sadly won't get Ultimate Alliance 1 or 2 on Steam anymore because Activision lost the license. Same with Deadpool and the activision Spider-Man games. So your options are sadly limited.
It shows that developers dont trust their games and/or dont know what they are doing with it, so they ask the players to say what they want, and make some money on the side.
What you are saying is an equivalent of ''Skyrim is the best game ever, because i can mod it to be anything i want''. No, Skyrim is a bad game, thats why you need mods for it to be anything you want.
Its the same with Stardew Valley or any other early access game, only difference is that, the actual developers are modding the game and not you. Because the initial core game they designed was indeed, trash.
Most idiotic ♥♥♥♥ I've ever heard. Not that you are, but what you're typing for sure is.
Ever heard of QA team? People that they hire to do the testing for them, plus if it's an online game, it's easier to do an open beta or etc. Path of Exile did the same thing before releasing, all games beta/alpha test the game, how else are you gonna make sure the game works on different hardware/software setups, nobody has infinite resources, it's either you have barely enough or not at all.
Plus developing with the community gives the chance for the community to shape the game instead of jumping into the deep end without knowing if it's any good or not.
I wish that Outriders, Marvel's Avengers and Cyberpunk 2077 had early access before they had the full release, or instead of a full release at the same time it would be an early access, they still could've sold it at the same price, not many complained about Baldur's Gate 3 (which has little to do with Baldur's Gate in terms of story and gameplay)
-By making sure that game works on different Hardware/software setups. You dont throw people to moon to make sure you can safely land people on the moon. This analogy also works for unmanned crafts, in case you say something about the flight being manned and human life being precious etc etc.
-Community cant shape a game, they are just players. For a game to have an identity and weight, it has to be designed by a certain someone, or a group. Otherwise its just an empty husk of a sandbox for people to play in it, it wouldnt hold any significance. There are sandboxes everywhere. Video games are supposed to be more than that. Much more.
What gave you that idea? That you couldnt answer back to what i wrote? Lol, some people.
