where to find Core Stone

I can't figure out where to find the core stone, to build the stone mine. I already found cabbages and carrots, beat the stone golem, and even some copper.
I am missing something here.

You mean Stone Node Core?
The Node Cores are made at the blast Furnace for 50 base resource.
(for stone core you need stone for copper core-> copper ore etc..)
