I dont believe that its more than 5% of Users that use Linux, yet, 1,63% seems waaay too low tbh.
As for those blankly and ignorantly saying it sucks as if it's a coolness factor. Feel free to be owned by corporations which bloat everything, spy on everyone, and sell your data. On windows you're the product, not the OS. I don't care what people choose, but don't pretend to be uppity when most of you are simply lazy and would sell their soul and freedom for corporate convenience, regardless of how badly they treat you.
P.S. It's not cool to simply do what you see others do. Never has been, never will be. Make your choices based upon experience and knowledge not based purely on what your buddies do. You'll notice the leader of friends groups is rarely copying anyone. They make their own path.
Why jump into a thread you don't care about? It's clearly not for you.
Many people, for good reason. Maybe you should look into it.
Firstly the thing you are referring to as "linux" is, in fact, GNU / Linux or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Secondly, there is a simple fix for this; all you have to do is go the the official proton github, download the source code, copy it to the mainframe then integer underflow the source code into the steam companion app then use the divided by zero error to trampoline hook into the game's executable path bypassing the intro screens of the game we then run our own custom amd driver to forepass the anticheat allowing you to play online without any issues.
or, you know... just use the latest version of GloriousEggroll...
Windows: Fine
Linux: Fine
SteamOS: Fine
MacOS: Fine
Winlator: Fine
if you cant install a simple game on any OS you should stop playing PC Games
