That drove me mad.
EDIT: finally managed to clear it, it was bugged no matter how successful I was I had to exit and redo the tutorial. Having "success" appear multiple times before properly clearing it must have caused it to bug out and never complete.
Sorry to hear you're having problems.
To succeed in the tutorial I'm:
Holding down jump during the introductory "replay" part of the training;
Release it after I clear the first big rock;
Hold brake so I don't hit the next group of rocks.
I'm not sure if there's some issue where it won't automatically advance from Training 2 to Training 3, I'll try and properly reproduce it and pass it on to the team.
Edit: I succeeded by... braking and hand-braking simultaneously, stopping before the rock :D... but it didn't progress the training.
no idea what Y is expected to do in that challenge, pressing it did nothing at all.
On other controllers it should work with whatever button is in the same position as Y on on Xbox (e.g., triangle on DS4), the game will try and display the correct glyphs.
NumPad0 (needs numlock on) does the same.
Everything can be rebound if you prefer ('RCS Lift' button).
There was some issue with this tutorial (I don't think it affected the ability to jump though), which has been fixed; the fix should appear in a future update.
