Did I miss notes about us not getting our seeds back when we harvest crops?


Also for controller support is there a way for you to change it where we use the left joystick to navigating the inventory or all the other things in menus you have use using the D-pad for?

Also im on the Berries and wild berries quest for the snowman and dont recall them in the game. Is that a new crop?

Not in this update, but January will bring a farming update that addresses many things. As part of that, scarecrows will be improved—they’ll become 100% effective and include a range indicator, among other enhancements.

You no longer get your seeds back when harvesting crops. Instead, you now need to build a Seed Extraction Table on the Farming Land. This change was introduced in the previous update last month.

Berries and Wild Berries are new additions and can now be found on the map. You can extract seeds from Berries and plant them, but Wild Berries cannot be planted.

Regarding controller support, I'll add this to my list and start working on it for the next update. While you could rebind the keys, I believe this would affect most UIs, not just the Inventory. The best solution would be to introduce new Key Bindings specifically for the Inventory and Storage Chests.

I'm still collecting feedback about the controller bindings and what would feel better for players, I got a lot of them wrong since I'm only used to play with keyboard and mouse.

Its not just storage and chests using the left joystick to navigate menus as well and anything you have us using the D-pad.

I did a quick test, you can rebind these (Settings -> Controller -> User Interface

and it will allow you to use the left thumbstick to navigate the Inventory slots. The downside is that it's super fast (I need to work on this) and it also affects most UIs which used the D-pad for certain things.

But you are right, I'll definitely have this worked on for the next update!

Ok ill look but I dont like rebinding because it normally dont feel right like you said the speed for one. Ill try it next time im in and see but if its to fast chances are it will be as aggravating as the D-pad for changing slots before you changed it to LB RB but ill see.

Thats not to fast. I went in to check and will play later to see how it works for everything.

Just finished the event. I was hoping the big gift was a holiday blueprint for us to keep making after the holidays. It went to a snowman screen and I didnt see what we got for finishing it.

Again the speed is fine on using the left joystick now. When you fix it use that speed. Also can you change in the inventory instead of using the right joystick to put in slot or move in inventory how about using buttons? Like push A over an item and it will go down to the slot list and you move to where and maybe hit X to move in inventory?
