How do you get shears?

I'm running the demo, and it says to shear sheep. I don't have shears. Is there a way to buy them or make them?

Hey, usually you get a pair of shears from a previous quest, check your inventory!
If that's not the case, you can craft your own shears later using the Crafting Table but that requires Iron Ingots. You can get Iron Ingots by smelting Iron Ores with the Smelter. You can find Iron deposits on the Map and in the Mine and you'll need a Pickaxe to extract from them.
