How to equipt

Okay so I'm playing on steam deck and I'm trying to put the stupid broom in my quick use thing and nothing I do is working! Help

Hey there, I'm sorry you are experiencing this!

In order to equip the broom to the quickslots you need to:

-select the broom in the inventory
-right stick up[prnt.sc]
-after that you select the quickslot and press A[prnt.sc]

That's really weird... Have you rebinded the controls? Can you see the option to "Equip To Quickslot" in the Inventory UI? What key icon does it show?
