I'm always short of wool and leather. It would be nice if there were slightly more sheep and deer on the map. (The number of cows, pigs, and chickens seems fine.) Maybe increase the existing herd of sheep by 1 or 2. Maybe add another spawn point for deer, perhaps near the campsite in the southwest corner, unless you have something else planned for that area.
(Kudos on the excellent improvements in customer behavior in your last update. I love that they now give me enough time to craft the items they requested. I also really like the new report we get after the shop closes. Keep up the great work!)
For the farmland:
Sheep for more wool. Since sheep are grazing animals, it would be great if they spawned in the grassy area around the shop, but the item that caused them to spawn would have to be placed inside the farmland. Maybe a water trough?
Chickens for more eggs. The chickens could wander inside or outside the fenced area, but the item that spawns them would need to be inside the farmland. In this case, you could use the existing asset from Beatrice's farm, that low hutch with the three nests inside.
Cherry trees and apple trees (repeating my suggestion from my review thread). Maybe cherry and apple saplings could only be planted inside our farm tile, not all over the map, as a way of limiting the number we could place.
For the shop:
Let us paint the little white spaces around the gable windows on the roof.
When we change the color of the roof, could we have the option to change color of the shutters along with it?
Let us place other wall decorations on the snap points along the back wall. Presently, we can only put large paintings there.
For the cat:
Scratching post (just a rope-wrapped log on a plank).
General (and most highly desirable):
When we delete a built item, return some of the materials as salvage.
When we delete an item from our inventory, add to the trash bags that we fill for Goubie.
I'll make sure to balance this for the next update! I'm planning to add difficulty options later but right now I'm trying to balance the current game mode as normal difficulty.
Noted! Thank you for the feedback!
There are plans to expand (might be a complete makeover) for the map. I also have in mind bigger areas where you can travel with your goods (markets in a town/village). Fruit trees are on their way and will be implemented in the near future to complete the farming.
I'm so happy you're letting us take this journey with you, because this is a fantastic premise and I love the work you've done thus far, just want you to know that you are amazing, if that was lost in any of this!
I was thinking this as well, but mostly for the Apothecary Table and cooking station, as all animal and plant products come from outside, I'm pretty okay with keeping the smelter and crafting table downstairs for the most part
Hah, you're right! Maybe it should be picked automatically if you have free space in the inventory and only drop if your inventory is full
