The game doesn't start (resolved)

I bought Alien breed trilogy.

All 3 games don't start. I can play hundreds of games on steam, so I think it's a problem of these games.

Can anyone help me?

EDIT: Tempusfugit78 found the solution to the problem. Post no.28, page 2 of this thread. All 3 games work now.

Game still doesn't start for me. I don't even have NVIDIA PhysX installed. Tried installing it, Alien Breed 1-3 still crashes. There's no longer any repair option for PhysX itself, just an uninstall option. Uninstalled it, game still doesn't work. :(

You need to install nvidia physyx

In my case Alien Breed 3 Demo insisted on corrupt PhysX, Alien 1 just crashed without message. Worked after UNINSTALLING Unreal Engine (and don't install again)

Tried firing up Alien Breed 1 for the first time since my previous comment (March) and it's now working fine. Last time I tried it wasn't working, so I can only assume that Steam's since installed something via another game that's enabled it to work.

I had an issue with the whole Trilogy. Actually, Impact worked fine for awhile but then it just stopped. If I tried to install the second game, I just got an error about a corrupted PhysX file. I messed around and got an answer, though this might not for everyone.

Go to your Control Panel --> Programs --> Programs and Features --> Uninstall Program --> NVIDA PhysX

Instead of uninstalling it, REPAIR NVIDA PhysX. It takes a seconds, but when I tried playing Impact and the second one, they were both fixed.

I'm playing the GoG version. GoG does not load the necessary files before running the game. That's why the required Nvidia Physx version is not installed.
