This is fun!

I have this game since 2011 but never really played it more than 3 hours.
Forgot about it, tried it again today and ... I totally surprised how much fun it is.

The graphics are good, not retro or bad old graphics like I feared, the sound is ok, the explosions are making your life difficult because and the aliens are ... woahhh. I don't like spiders!!!

The quality of the game seems to be quite high.
Did I miss the hype for the game 12 years ago or did everyone else not realize how much simple fun it is?

No matter how tired you are, this game is so simple you can still have fun with it :-)

And I like the shotgun very much. My favourite weapon. Yeah!

It's great. Also it plays well on the new handhelds (Deck/Ally etc) almost like it was made for them

I remember playing this but on the Xbox 360 arcade, good game that holds up surprisingly well

This is just a search in the store using tags.

You can modify it to your needs/wants.
For the above search I used:
- Twin Stick Shooter
- Action
- Isometric

Perhaps you want to remove the last two tags for your search. Or add multiplayer, or Linux or something else.

I've not played that much of this (just bought the trilogy) but I can honestly say, I find Alien Breed to be far more impressive than Aliens Fireteam Elite (which I found to be sleep-inducingly dull). Technically it's solid, it's pretty immersive despite the perspective and I felt more tension/panic in the opening mission than I did in all my time in the aforementioned title. Plus (and here's the big bonus for me) it doesn't seem to be blighted by Joss Whedon-style dialogue. I found AFE's "characters" to be infuriating and it completely destroyed any sense of immersion for me.
