How to play in multiplayer mode on Mac?

Hello, I've tried to play in multiplayer mode but when someone invites me to play Worms it says it's impossible to connect. Same thing when I invite a friend, even though the firewall supposedly allows them to connect on my computer... I don't know if it's because it's apple or if I'm just hopeless with computers. Can anyone fix the issue? If you can solve that problem, you're a star! Thx in advance :)

Sorry to hear that you're having this problem.
If you're on different system types, I would like to point out that this game doesn't support cross-platform multiplayer. So if you're on a Mac and your friend is on a Windows PC or Linux machine, it won't be possible to play against one another.

If you're both on the same system type, it might be that there is a configuration issue.
To resolve issues of this nature, please (both of you) follow the steps below:

• Launch Steam
  
• Click Steam in the top left of the client
  
• Open the Settings menu
  
• Navigate to the Downloads section
  
• Expand the Download Region and choose UK – London (Or most appropriate server location)
  
• Set the bandwidth limit to No Limit (Unless you are on a limited data plan)

If the issue is persisting, please respond with as much additional information as possible and dictations of any error messages you receive.
Once I have this, I'll pass the matter on to the team.
