Can't access Config or Settings menu!

When I load a save and tried to access the Config my game freezes and I can't access the settings tab at all when on the main menu. I am wondering if the new update that added subtitles for the character voice tests caused the Config menu to break.

Has this happened to anyone else?

EDIT: The issue was the patch broke the Improved Readability mod. The mod author has already released the latest version of that mod so downloading the new one fixed everything.
