You underestimate Johrens drm. Trust me on this, you can lose access to your game by dragging the EXE to a new folder or buying more ram.
I’m not spending a penny on any other game with that drm. Sure denuvo has its problems but it’s not a “well I’m never buying that game” showstopper like Johren’s crap
Not only those are 100% false. But Johren literally tells you that you can revoke a key, what does this means: You have 3 activation keys. You download, install it and use a key. You now have 2 activation keys. You contact Support, ask them to revoke it, and tada, you have 3 keys again. You can also do this exact same thing by just adding a recokeactivationkey line when uninstalling. Johren support literally tell you this if you contact them.
Lastly, you literally have the option to just get it here on steam if you don't want to do any of the above. You had 0 intention of buying the game, you just came here for attention and clown points.
Wew lad what a time to be alive.
The system requirements say it contains Johren drm. And funny enough it didn’t say this before release, they added that line after release. I was one click away from preordering when I didn’t see the DRM and thankfully said “hmm the preorder discount lasts beyond the release, I might as well wait just in case”
Edit: to be clear this drm is on the uncensored Johren website version, as far as I know it’s not on the censored steam version.
“You just have to contact support every time your game becomes unplayable because you moved your game to a new hard drive, and if you contact support they will tell you a secret code involving creating a script in notepad to contact their server and disable your game” is not the ringing endorsement of Johren’s DRM you think it is, and I feel sorry for you if you think this is normal in videogames
Absolute insanity, these zoomers are brainwashed. They really don't know what its like not having to sign in or having all the game features without having to purchase a DLC on day 1 release and to see this guy shill for DRM, sadge.
There are tons of those in the shiravune discord. I've yet to play dungeon travelers 2, not until they release it elsewhere otherwise I'll just keep going through my neverending backlog.
It's a couple extra steps for the first setup, since the patch is a separate download, but in the long run the Steam version's a lot easier to move around, back up, and restore. And even if the Johren version didn't have DRM, I'd put money on Steam surviving longer than Johren anyways.
Well ♥♥♥♥, their childhood must have sucked because the best game of my childhood was Super Mario World and comparing the 2 is like diamonds to mud.
Needless to say, I was disappointed with my purchase.
Since the game is on other stores uncut though, theres thankfully no reason whatsoever to use Johren (the worst store ive ever used in my life)
