How long is the game roughly?
I'm very interested, but looks expensive for me. I kinda don't care about all the costumes, but I do care about the artbook and music, but the artbook is only in the most expensive bundle. And I don't see season pass there and I saw DLC might come later too... So I really just wonder if I should buy it or wait for a bigger sale, like xmas or something.

10-15h, with most of your time you watching the story. Raw gameplay is like 4-6h for the main game.

That ultimate edition is straight up overpriced. (80 euro? for a 15 hour base game, 4 sets of clothing, artbook and music? with a suppused 20% discount?) like wtf is that artbook like a 100 pages long or something? or there's over 100 tracks in the music? I get it, the writing is most likely very good and the music too, but for this short? Nah man. I feel like I'm just gonna wait for xmas sale and get the base game and the art book with an actual discount.

I kinda expected it will be overpriced but not expect it will be more expensive but 3 times shorter than Crystar.... Anyway I bought it and will see how it is going

It is a fine game for what it is, but definitely has the most abysmal price/content ratio.
But the price is set by FuRyu (Japanese publisher) and NISA, (not the developer, AQURIA) so it is what it is.

frankly if you are into that type of games you will see how overpriced they are even years after release, my biggest gripe was with Blue reflection who's for the base game around 59$ but if you wanted more (season pass or extra outfits) it goes well beyond 100$ and that's not even the worst you can have on steam/consoles.

I just barely buy new games so I'm just completely out of the loop with prices but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And apperently not all of the art book is even translated... I just wait for an actual sale where the goes down to 40 or lower. I'm not in a hurry to play it after this.

Guess I should thank Best Buy for canceling my order. Will wait for a sale on the Switch

Honestly, that's not really a bad thing, Crystar was 80% the same copypasted dungeons, it was an incredible chore to play through. I eventually gave up and just watched the cutscenes on YT. The gameplay really sucked as it was fighting the same 3 enemies with braindead AI over and over hundreds of times. Even the worst Neptunia games are more fun to play than Crystar.

Indeed, at least I don't feel dull when I go through Crymachina's dungeons as they don't need to explore at all and spend too much time on killing those braindead AI (I remember I totally gave up to walk through all the corners and kill all the enemies at third round of Crystar), although I do feel adding few more scenes and stories during the gameplay would be more enjoyable.

But still, wait for half-price-slash would be recommended if you are not urge to play the game
