Nullifier not working
I've had this happen a couple times, and I'm not sure what's causing it. The nullifier is right next to an emitter or something similar but does nothing - had a thrower I had to leave a couple units next to just babysit it till I finished the level. In this screenshot, I've got it happening again, and I'm just not sure why.

Anyone know what's happening?

Gotta have the nullifier in the open to allow it to fire

I just found this out the hard way. This really should be mentioned in the in-game shield tutorial.

Yes, it was the shields. This should be in the help/tutorial indeed. IIRC, shields weren't blocking nullifiers in the previous games.

Shields definitely didn't block nullifiers in CW3 and CW4. There was a special emitter in CW3 that randomly spawned creeper around the map (except in your center base area), but it couldn't spawn creeper near shields, so It was a good idea to protect your nullifier and other forward buildings with shields. Similarly in CW4, there was a mission where creeper rained from the sky, so you had to protect all of your buildings, including nullifiers, with shields. I don't know if shields blocked nullifiers in CW2 though.

Nullifiers do have at least 1 advantage in this game that they didn't have in the previous games, they can be moved.

The previous games required that you build the nullifiers within range, and couldn't move.

I might be misremembering, but if I recall correctly, that was how they worked.
