Why did they change from 3D?
Very sad, I loved that...

This is completely different style game from creeper world 4. I enjoyed 3 and 4 both.

I believe that it was confirmed before it came out that the 3D of the 4th game was just an experiment/gimmick and wasn't going to become standard in future games. Keep in mind only 1 of 6 games by the Dev has been in 3D.

Also something about how the games are easier to make and work better in 2D because of the massive amount of liquid physic calculations in real time.

That's unfortunate, it was really enjoyable to see the effects in 3D and visually stimulating. I know many particle simulators are in 2D and so retreating back to that does make sense.

Propably because the developer wanted to do a pixel/particle simulating game like Noita. It can be kinda cool if every pixel is simulated and nteracts with its environment. I think its hard to make it work in 3D. Even the current pixel count is sometimes too much and drops my framerate.

This game is fun, but it definitely feels like a downgrade from CW4.

I've yet to find the fun in the demo, good luck!
