Or, if you have the game in your library, you can activate the list view and set the categories to display cloud saving.
I guess I'll be skipping downloading this. Hard to get back to it after the file loss.

Like all Steam features, cloud saves must be implemented by the developers of a game. This will never be forced unto devs by Valve. And believe it or not, some publishers have their own cloud saving service or simply don't want Steam cloud saving in their games.
In this case, the devs of Sacred 2 are bankrupt, and there is no one left to implement Steam features.
