game is too easy what can i do?

I read somewhere that you have to play through on one difficulty to unlock the next, is this true? Are there any mods that give the game a reasonable difficulty? I started the game on silver and its boring as hell, due to lack of challenge.

Normal monsters cant scratch me and everything dies in a few hits. Only mob so far that was able to damage me was the kobold boss. But since you can just down potion after potion, you are pretty much immortal. Does this change on higher levels? ( right now i play without using potions but its still extremly easy).

Also I forgot to mention with at least 10 to 16 players in a game too! Do all these i mentioned and get back to me....

Yea not gonna happen...my game is hard on me due to me making my build weaker just so i can have EP and barg together, and i am in niob with tweaked out files to make the enemies much harder and increased spawns ( crazy in some regions! ).

and this is even with life stealing at 300 ( 2 swords gives me this ).

lol that must be nuts. well i think the game is just right and i wish there were more games like this. games are to be relaxing, not a job which is why i no longer play mmos. so yeah i kinda get annoyed when someone is whining over a game when they dont understand the concept of that game.

Exactly!

although i do love a challenge...which is why i mod my games and tweak things to provide a challenge to where i get my ass kicked or struggle yet i enjoy it haha.

The guy just needs to give it a shot and progress through the game, my best advice is for him to either give it up or rush through the game and ignore all side quests till at least plat...rush through silver and gold, you can easily get out of silver by lvl 36 for example.

yes..and attack speed, i raised my cap to 200%

I have many files edited but non are cheats that i did, just some tweaks pretty much.

I play as Temple Guardian, its more challenging that way.
As well i play MQ only and go to gold diff as fast as i can.

you can see your survival bonus by opening up your inventory ( F button if irc) and move your mouse over the top bar it should be on a "scroll over window" like thing and somewhere in there it will say x# of deaths and x.xx% survival bonus

I always play on Silver, cause if you beat bronze(bronze really easy), it wont unlock next tier lols. And I like playing
with full survival bonus like diablo II hardcore. Game gets harder later on when you screw up. But most people tend to give up or get bored of it, to reach level 200, takes a long time. Once
survival bonus gets up, enemies get harder, and you stats get free bonus stats for surviving as well.

When i load up my ps3, theres lot of people in the 200s, i think thats crazy. Most my chars on my pcs, i give up around 80s-100s level. Leveling gets really slow. I think with most people they'll get bored of the game around at 50-80 level. Game is fun to pick up from time to time.
