You might be able to get the Community Patch by using the Wayback Machine for sacredwiki.org. The site has been offline for the last week or so, but it may eventually come back.

The sacredwiki.org site had the CM patch notes in English.

The official website darkmatters.org has been down since december, not sure if it will come back. Same goes for sacredwiki, which really is a shame.

As a Sacred veteran, I can confirm that the Community Patch is both legit and an absolute necessity for any Sacred 2 Gold player.

We already fixed and included in the Patch: Unlocking XMAS-Island, Fistweapons, Throwing Potions, New Sets for TG, SW and all other Chars, New Uniques, New Legendaries, New Quests, fixed the "Arkenmarks Refuge" Dungeon, Unlock Items can drop regularly, unavailable Shrinkheads can drop now and various other fixes and additions too numerous to mention all here. It's terribly advertised, but as tsff19 said, it's a necessity.
6 languages are supported.

Frank Rentmeister is an ex-ascaron employee and he maintains the bug tracker this patch is developed on. Also, CM = CzevakMarcus (Czevak also is ex-Ascaron if I'm not mistaken).

I have v0130 saved off on my NAS from when I bought this from GamersGate I think it was a while back. It is SO PAINFUL to install and patch this game that I might just buy it again on steam not to have to do that. I have everything as individual purchases (S2 + I&B) and patching it to current is very frustrating.

I may throw up a mirror of v0130 CM if anyone has interest.

there may be a CM Patch 1.5 in a distant future,however the 140f is the only on you need until that happens
