To answer Siddha, he's vulnerable to Fire and Physical. I think it's physical. He's definately vulnerable to Fire. I've got an idea for a strategy. If it works, I'll let you know. even if it doesn't, I'll still let you know.
Sorry if this is going Off Topic, but with General Terus, another Boss, I stood back with my Seraphim, and blasted him with an energy pistol. That finished him. Blasted strategy didn;'t work with The Ghost Of Christmas Future.
Anyway, I'll try out what both ideas and let you know what happened.
This is getting stupid. Tough battles I don't mind. Unwinnable battles I mind exccedingly. They're also called Losing Battles.
I'm sick of this. I just want to finish the Can Christmas Be Saved Storyline, and get on with the poxy game.
My point was as to what kind of damage does the boss deal...
and have you done all you can to protect yourself from as much as possible....mitigation.

To answer your question, the boss deals out Ice, Magic and Physical Damage.
My Serepahim's armour mostly boosts her Combat Arts. She does have a ring which protects her from Ice Damage. Something like that.
As regards Damage Mitigation, I understand what you mean now.
She has two Set Pieces from different Sets, Light Battle Plate and Protective Gloves. Forgottenthe names of the Sets.
These have Damage Mithgation properties. So it might be an idea to equip them while fighting this Boss?
How about combat arts buffs...bottom righthand corner.
Loaded Buffs and Cleansing Brilliance and Warding Energy. I've got a horrible suspicion he can turn off Buffs.
I found a shield outside Thylisium which has Damage Mitigation. Could prove useful.
Some great info there...and friendly helpful folk.

ps just had a look there and I see you have a thread.
I beat him yesterday. I'll tell you what I did.
This is what I did. I'm working from memory, and I beat him about 7:15 this eveningm Sunday 10th November. It is now 9:30.
I cleared the area, beating all the Snow Cats and Polar Bears before runnuing up to the Mesa. Once here, I got the ghost to chase me. I ran back to the dock, doubled back and ran up the path the the Mesa again. The Ghost gave chase.
Once here, I managed to back him into the eastern side, near the edge. Here, I pelted him with a combination of Blaster fire, from the Unique Energy Pistol Death Girrh, Radiant Pillar, Baneful Smite, Flaring Nova and God's Gift. My Seraphim's deity is Lumen.
In time, he went down. I took the branch from the Tree Of Wonders, finished the Quest. I'm now collecting the Christmas Decorations.
I'm certain some of those monsters, Polar Bears seem to specialise in this, can turn off Buffs. Because they've been turned off on more than one occasion.
The Minion Ghosts were left at the dock. I encountered them after returning to the Dock after my Seraphim was killed. They were easy enough to defeat. Nothing like the Ghost Of Christmas Future.
That was last night (Sunday).
I've finished Christmas Island now.
The other Bosses weren't too bad. The worst characters were the Former Christmas Trees and the Furies. The Furies cancelled buffs, which was both scary and annoying. The trees mobbed. They were strong enough alone. Several were pure hell.
I'm not certain how to put pictures into posts here. Oherwise I'd show you Christmas seraphim.
