+1 to Radmin VPN. Free and requires no registration. AND gives you more user slots.
Forget about Hamachi and those cr4p that last nothing like Tunggle or EvolveHQ
Is it really that more popular? Cause i haven't found many people talking about it. though i may add it to the post if needed.
Installed Radmin VPN. Joined the Sacred 2 Fallen Angel group.
Our ip in Radmin VPN is 26.132.247.86 and 26.132.247.66.

Making a game over the network. A friend sees the server. When trying to join, a network connection error occurs 10. The version of the games is the same. Patch CM0160 for both. What could be the reason for the error?
Split screen is not really required.
BUT, this happening is HIGHLY unlikely as Deep Silver (IF they even own the game anymore) has put Sacred on the faaaaaaaaaaaaar back burner after they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so bad with the 3rd game. Ironically, remote play co-op would probably see a revival of interest and a chance to give the game a proper sequel. (Despite Sacred 2 being a 2000 year pre-quel to the first game there's wiggle room in there.)
I said that Sacred does not support splitscreen co-op. By that I meant that Sacred does not support playing with two or more people on a single computer. Also called "couch co-op", "local co-op" and apparently even "singleplayer co-op", but the important part here is multiple players playing the game on a single computer.
Borrowing an explanation from elsewhere:
"Steam runs the game on your computer and streams it live to your friends. Everyone sees what you see on your screen, and the inputs they make on their computers are sent to yours. Think Google Stadia, but running entirely on your PC."
That's why games like Cuphead or Gang Beasts are supported, and Sacred isn't.
Off-topic but if they did bring out that as an update I wish they would bring console control schemes to the PC version.
The only thing potentially stopping this is some red tape ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from the console owners.
Of course Deep Silver would need to unbury it and put time and money into that to bring it up to spec. So in the end the fact that it CAN be done doesn't mean it will be.
That is if Deep Silver even still owns the rights to it.
Secondly, Deep Silver isn't the developer of the game. Ascaron was, and the company dissolved in 2009. Funnily, the reason why Ascaron died was Sacred 2 and how long it took to develop
They would be really stupid to pour money into developing an almost-dead game from 2009. I'd recommend you to stop hoping and instead join the darkmatters community for some multiplayer action :)
Evolve and Tunngle no longer avaible
