How to run a LAN game through Hamachi for Sacred 2.

This MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE, but so far my friends and me were able to use this.


Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections -->
Network Adapters, rightclick hamachi, choose properties, choose Internet Protocol 4, choose properties, Advanced, and in the bottom Metric something. It should be 9000 as default, but change it to 1.

It will make the LAN list in-game act a bit weird, but at least it showed others games after we changed this.

Also in Network Adapters, press Alt, and a bar on the top should appear. (File, Edit etc).
Press Advanced --> Advanced Settings. Make sure Hamachi is at the top of the list which appear.

Hamachi is a mess, you especially need to make sure the port hamachi use is open in your firewall.

it`s been years since i used Hamachi,how is the ping nowadays? Still at around 100?

I suppose it's around that, yes. We haven't had any problems using it over the last couple of years (Risk of Rain, Sacred 2 now).

yeah,as long as everyone sees the hosted games it isn`t a problem.high ping still made me stop using it for EmpireEarth 1 [desync icon once big battles start],with tunngle everything was around 40ms. but as i said,as long as it does the job it`s an okay tool and without it,there would be no tunngle,gameranger and whatnot

Wow, thanks. No idea how this is mentioned nowhere else but this was exactly what fixed our problem!
