And now with Sacred 2 Gold it's working similar. You either install the Community Patch to try and iron most bugs left lingering (and then eventually place Enhanced Edition[darkmatters.org] mod on top with JSGME) or simply install the Purist Fix Pack[darkmatters.org] (without the Community Patch, ofc).
Just as a side note, it's advisable to let JSGME install your mods apart the Community Patch to make their removal back way more easier.
i also have the same problem and it is very annoying if you have any solution ...
As EmY1C4 stated above his/her solution for when the Sacred 2's HUD (heads-up display) disappears is to simply open the map and teleport to the closest Portal and then head back to where you were. And it usually solves his/her problem.
