Game not finding LAN Server
Hey everybody!

Today i wanted to play some Sacred 2 with my girlfriend again. Like usually she started the server, as our campaign progress is saved on her character. But for some reason i couldn't find the server in the lobby. The other way round, whenever i hosted, she had no troubles finding my game, but then we'd have to start all over again.

We are both running the latest version with CM 150. Both PCs are using Comodo (which isn't to blame; it is set to let sacred through and deactivating it completely didn't help either). The only difference i can think of is that i recently upgraded to windows 10. I already tried completely reinstalling the game on both PCs, restarting router and hub and i'm really runnning out of ideas.

Any help would be appreciated!

The only time i had this problem is when one character is started on the light campaign and the other is on the dark campaign. I also remember when i upgraded to Win10 before everyone elts in my house they could connect to me but i couldn't find their game.

Not sure if it is Win10 or not but i know i fixed it i just cannot remember how right now.

Yeah, i read about the light/dark path problem. Both are light path though, and that should be fixed by checking "show all servers" in the upper left corner. I still wouldn't be able to join the server, but at least see it.

Guess I'm back to a little trial and error then. If I can't make it work though, I guess I'll just copy her character over to my PC and let her use it. Probably the easiest solution. No point spending too much time trying to make a ten years old game work.

Yeah, until now i never had any troubles getting it to work either. And I've had it since release and played it fanatically for some time. :)

EDIT:
In the end i "solved" the issue by running a dedicated server on my machine, which she joins first, so that her character's campaign progress is used for the game. :)

EDIT:
Since both of us moved on newer machines with windows 10, the problem came up again when neither of us could see the others server. In the end I got to work by deactivating all other network adapters besides the LAN connection used for our local network.
