Sacred 2 Gold

Sacred 4 please
I bought Sacred 2 long, long time ago on CD-Rom (I also own it on steam) and played it many hours. It really is a great game and I still remember how awesome the graphics were (they still are!) and how this game introduced me to nVidia PhysX! But this game was not just the graphics.. no it's a great hack & slash game with a very huge open world to explore, and with great art, awesome looking gear, smooth combat ect. It was a true masterpiece!

Why oh why didn't they just keep with this game's formula and upgrade their engine, improve the animations, add more different spells, classes, talents, some new loot and a new world? They would have had such a huge successor of this game!

I would have bought it for full price in a heartbeat when Sacred 3 was like that, and I hope the devs realise that most of their Sacred fans want another hack & slash game like Sacred 2!

So please consider working on another Sacred game, Sacred 4, and stay with the Sacred 2 formula, even keep the characters, just improve them and add more abilities, ect.

You guys seriously have gold in your hands, make it happen and blow Diablo 3 away from the throne, it isn't really that great of a game, it's just well known because of Blizzard and their marketing.. Sacred 2, if it was released today, would have been so much better!

Please make it happen, and let them know you want it too!

"He is up there":
The problem is that Ascalom made Sacred (excellent game) and Sacred 2 (superb game) and went bankrupt shortly after launching rhe expansion for Sacred 2.

I have read in the internet two years ago that the guys that made Sacred and Sacred 2 were trying to make the real sequel to Sacred 2.

I guess that they didn't get the money to do it, because the expertise they have enough.
It is a pity!

Edit: the company that made Sacred and Sacred 2 is Ascaron, not "Ascalom".

Ah that really sucks, Sacred 2 is such a great game, even still, while it's pretty old now, it rocks!

I even bought this gold edition while already owning Sacred 2 (EU) here on Steam, this game is truly a masterpiece, even the animations are still great, they're dated but compare that with any other game that released at that time.

It really makes you wonder how in the world they got bankrupt.. I think it got all to do with marketing, there is really nothing wrong with this game, maybe the story is lacking but who plays a hack & slash for the story? Everything else is great, this is also the only hack & slash game I know where you can use mounts! And it also got the biggest open world I've ever seen.

It's indeed a pity and I can only imagine how the devs must have felt going bankrupt, they definitly didn't deserve it!

Well, 3DO with the Heroes of Might and Magic series, Might and Magic series, Uprising 1 and 2 went bankrupt. And 3DO was much more bigger than Ascaron!

OMG, look what I found: http://unbended.zone/projekt/?lang=en

Devs that made the original Sacred and this game are working on a new arpg project, they announced it in 2014 but I can't find any gameplay footage yet, but at least they're working on something, that's awesome!
